He was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico and at the age of 2, moved to Central Florida. While at the University of South Florida, he was fortunate enough to be awarded a summer internship at the Orlando office of the United States Secret Service. After receiving his Bachelors of Arts degree from the University of South Florida, he attended law school at Oklahoma City University School of Law. During his second year of law school, he was selected to participate in the law schools moot court team and competed nationally. He earned my Juris Doctor degree with honors and is licensed to practice law in the States of Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and Illinois.
Growing up in Central Florida, he witnessed firsthand his mother’s struggles as a single parent. It was through her teachings and examples that he learned the value of hard work and discovered his passion to help others. In addition, his mother ensured that he and his sisters learn both Spanish and English. Today, he tries each day to instill the same values and passion in his son.
