East River Ranch

The one thing that stood out was the Texas Longhorn cattle herds. The colors, patterns, and horns of these magnificent animals captured the city slicker to the point that his mission became to learn about the longhorn breed and raise his own herd.

Sal and Linda Farina own the East River Ranch located in northwest Ocala on 70 acres of beautiful pasture land.  The name is derived from the river that separates Brooklyn, NY from the rest of the world.

The property is perfectly suited for raising Texas Longhorn cattle, Sal’s passion. His focus is to build a herd of superior Texas Longhorn cattle.
