Summer in Marion County is a beautiful reminder of exactly what we are working to protect. From rolling green pastures and working farms to the horses and people who make this community unlike anywhere else, horse country is more than a landscape—it is a way of life worth preserving.

From May 1 through July 31, we were proud to welcome new members to the Horse Farms Forever® community while celebrating the continued commitment of our returning members.

Every membership strengthens our ability to advocate for the land, farms and rural character that make Marion County so special. Whether you joined us for the first time this summer or renewed your support for another year, we are incredibly grateful to have you standing with us.

New & Returning Supporters: May 1 – July 31

This summer brought another wonderful group of individuals, families, farms, businesses, and philanthropic supporters together around one shared goal: keeping horse country, horse country.

From first-time members to long-time supporters and our dedicated Founders, every level of support plays an important role in protecting Marion County’s agricultural land, equestrian heritage, and rural character.

Take a moment to look through the names below. Behind every supporter is someone who believes the future of Marion County’s horse country is worth protecting.

Membership is more than simply supporting an organization—it is a commitment to preserving the land and lifestyle that have made this community one of the world’s most remarkable equestrian destinations.

Your Membership Makes Our Work Possible

The strength of Horse Farms Forever comes from the people who choose to stand behind our mission.

With the support of our members, Horse Farms Forever continues to:

Protect – We remain vigilant, watching for threats to the Farmland Preservation Area and responding when proposed development, roadways or other challenges could impact our agricultural lands.

Promote – We continue raising awareness throughout the community and beyond about the importance of Marion County’s farmland, equestrian heritage and rural character.

Preserve – We work with and encourage landowners who want to conserve their land, helping ensure that farms and open spaces remain part of Marion County’s future.

Plan – We advocate for thoughtful long-term planning and policies that support conservation while balancing the needs of a growing community.

None of this happens without a strong community standing behind the mission.
